Meet the Photographer
I’m Amanda.
I believe the best photos aren’t posed—they’re felt. They come from the little moments of trust, joy, and connection that happen naturally between you and what you love the most.
My love for photography started way back in elementary school. My very first 4-H project was on photography, and from that point on, I was hooked. I went from experimenting with film cameras, to navigating the new world of digital photography, and now to embracing the artistry and precision of mirrorless. Along the way, I've always been the one with a camera in hand—capturing everyday life, making scrapbooks, etc. What began as a childhood project has grown into both a lifelong hobby and calling built around preserving stories.
For me, this isn’t just photography. It’s storytelling. It’s preserving a piece of your life and the relationships that matter most, so you can treasure them for generations.
When I'm not behind the camera...
You can usually find me at home with my husband, Michael, and our three kids—Landon, Elaina, and Julia. I enjoy traveling, quiet evenings on the porch, or gathering everyone together for a family game night. Life is a mix of DIY projects, cheering from the sidelines at one of our family’s many sporting events, or heading out on family adventures.
Our three dogs—Paddy, Gertie, and Rubble—keep life interesting and full of love. I enjoy the simple things and take pictures wherever we go.
At heart, I love being home and connected to the people, and pets, I care most about.
